Random Spring Events

We went to see our niece and nephew play T-ball. It was the funniest sporting event I have ever been to. The kids did not know what they were doing and they would all run for the ball. It was very cute....priceless.

A few friends and I show up at Kristi's "single-cd" debut. She wrote/sang a song about a person having Alzheimers. All proceeds from that night went to support Alzheimers's research.

We went to the state basketball playoffs in Austin... very good game!!! We decided to stay the weekend and enjoy the city.

Spring Break! 2009

We spent Spring Break in San Antonio!

We walk into the AT&T center to hear the beautiful Mariachi music. They are promoting Fiesta. Sad to say but it had been atleast 2 years since I heard Mariachi's play. I love watching them play and sing. There's nothing like a good Mexican dinner while Mariachi's are playing. :-)

Guess What type of food was requested? Mexican, of course! :-) The boys aren't shy about letting you know what they want to eat!!!

How much food does it take to feed a High School basketball team of 17 boys....??!! 72 chicken & cheese enchiladas, 2 LARGE pans of rice, 2 LARGE pots of refried beans, 60 chicken taquitos. The menu also included flour tortillas, guacamole, nachos, salsa, chips, and dessert...basketball cupcakes!

Tiger Playoffs! 2009

The Tigers make it to the 5A Basketball playoffs! The first game will be tough. They will play the state champions from the previous year!

The Tigers lost to N. Crowley. We were leading in the first half. After halftime our guys kept losing the ball...turnovers, bad passes, no defense, etc. & the other team came back ready to win. :-( We'll try again next year!
